Climb Mount Royal late in the day
The free Kondiaronk lookout hangs over downtown. A 30-minute walk up from Avenue du Parc, with golden light on the towers an hour before sunset.

On foot + RESO in winter
The center is walkable. At -20°C, the underground city (33 km of corridors, 2,000 shops) links metro, museums and malls without stepping outside.
