Can you wear swimwear in Maafushi? +
Yes, but only at Bikini Beach, the stretch of beach set aside for tourists. The rest of the island is Muslim and requires proper dress covering shoulders and knees.

Not on the island, which is Muslim. Alcohol is served only on the bar boats at sea and in neighboring resorts, reachable on day trips.
