Combine Mahé + Praslin + La Digue

Rental car nearly essential
Dense but slow and unpredictable public bus. Compact car €40-60/day, agencies at the airport and Victoria. Left-hand drive, simple road code, narrow uphill roads.
Beau Vallon for the first days
Biggest beach on the northwest, safe swimming, waterside dinners at the Boat House, snorkeling. Resort hub with buzz, good base for discovery.
Expensive, even very expensive destination
Seychelles remains one of the priciest countries on earth. Count €150/day in comfort, €400+ in premium. Self-catering possible (Spar, STC) to bring the budget down.
Must-see
The iconic northwest beach, 3 km of white sand. Calm waters, year-round swimming, seaside restaurants, Wednesday night market.
One of the world's smallest capitals. Sir Selwyn-Selwyn Clarke market (fish, spices), Clock Tower (1903), botanical garden. Authentic Creole vibe.
Wild southwest beach, white sand, granite boulders, sometimes strong waves. One of Mahé's most photogenic, lightly visited.
Highest summit (905 m) and national park covering 20% of Mahé. Hikes (Copolia Trail, Trois Frères, Anse Major), primary forest.
Isolated beach accessible only by trail from Bel Ombre (1h30). White sand, snorkeling, no crowds. Earned reward for hikers.
Historic Victoria market, open every morning except Sunday. Fresh fish, tropical fruit, spices, crafts. Also a Saturday evening market.
East-coast beach, windier, ideal kitesurf and diving. Small authentic Creole restos, local vibe.
Tea plantation and panoramic belvedere in the island's center. Views over east and west coasts. Pair with a Morne hike.
6-ha garden in Victoria, endemic palms, giant tortoises in pens, traveler's trees. Peaceful.
West coast, isolated beach and Sauzier waterfall on a 1h hike. Far from the resorts, rural Creole vibe.
