Adapt by season
This itinerary mixes coastline (Barcelona, Valencia) with inland cities that bake in summer (Granada, Cordoba, Seville). From June to September, Andalusia often tops 38°C: visit the Alhambra and Alcázar early, keep the sea for the afternoon. From April to June and September to October, the whole route is comfortable. In winter, Granada can be chilly with the snow-capped Sierra Nevada as a backdrop.
