Often above 45°C, up to 50°C in July-August, with heavy humidity on the coast. Everything moves to air-conditioned interiors.
Beach and sea, Nov-April
Water at 22-26°C, pleasant terraces, comfortable desert outings. The prime window for Dubai and Abu Dhabi leisure.
March-April: sandstorms
Winds are strongest then. A few sandy, hazy days, mostly inland and in the desert.

Near-empty hotels and slashed rates June to August. A solution if you can take the heat and stay mostly indoors.

Our analysis
The UAE lives by a sharp desert climate: a mild, bright winter, and a summer that turns the outdoors into a furnace. The rule is simple: aim for the cool season, November to March.
The mild season, November to March
This is the prime window. The thermometer settles between 20 and 28°C by day, evenings turn pleasant and the sea stays warm (22-26°C). It is the time to combine Dubai, Abu Dhabi, a desert night and the beach without suffering. December to February form the core of high season: book two to three months ahead, especially around the holidays.
March extends this good stretch, with one caveat: winds are strongest in March-April and can bring sandy, hazy days, mostly inland.
The summer trap
From May to September, the heat climbs past 45°C, up to 50°C in July-August, with coastal humidity that makes the air heavy. Everything then happens in air-conditioned interiors: malls, museums, covered parks. This is the time to avoid if you plan to walk or stay outside.
My firm advice: come in summer only for the prices, genuinely slashed June to August, and only if your plan stays mostly indoors. Otherwise, April and October offer a fair compromise, hot but still bearable.
