How to get around
A rental 4x4 links the three stops in one week, over ~500 km. The Monteverde road and the Tárcoles bridge are the only technical sections. Legs of 3 to 4h between stops.

Adapt by season
In one week, the dry season (December-April) eases the Monteverde road and guarantees clear skies over Arenal. In the green season, drive in the morning (rain late in the day) and keep afternoons for parks and beaches.
